We have some exciting new to share! We’re now Srixon Brand Ambassadors! We created “Mr & Mrs Golf” with the idea of growing the couples golf community and sharing our favorites along the way. ⛳ We both value and know how much a locally owned business means to a family and a community.
We’ve teamed up with Srixon and Reid West Golf Academies, because over the last 19 years, Reid West Academies have built a great reputation here in the valley. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing a few decades, they strive to provide the highest level of service to you.
Getting Fit
Finding the best golf equipment is tricky and buying off the rack is one of the worst things you can do for your game! So this past week we went to Aguila Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ to do a club fitting with Tim, The Club Guy.
The Mrs was up first and was excited and nervous to get fitted. As her game has been improving she’s noticed more gaps and inconsistency in her short game. Her current wedges were hand me downs or improperly fit “ladies” clubs. The Club Guy made it relaxed and easy for her to go through a wedge fitting. She tested the Cleveland RTX6 ZipCore Wedges and quickly found she liked the performancee. The Mrs will be adding 54° and 58° wedges to her bag.
Mr was up next and is already using a ZX Utility Iron, ZX5/ZX7 Irons, and RTX6 ZipCore wedges but needed some help with either hybrids or fairway woods. Turns out he got both! Getting fitted for a 17° ZX Mk II Hybrid and a 15° ZX Mk II Fairway Wood.
