Mr & Mrs Golf Playing Golf In All 50 States

Like many couples these days, we met online and both of our dating profiles included golf as a favorite past time, so naturally our first real date was on the golf course! We played the iconic Mountain Shadows Short Course in Paradise Valley, AZ and to this day is still one of our favorites. Now we are married and we’re a golf couple playing golf in all 50 states.

Since then we have enjoyed the game as a couple and found this to be the par-fect way to enjoy quality time together. Early on we realized that we were both fans of The Five Love Languages as a means for couples to communicate and grow closer together. As our relationship grew we realized that Quality Time stayed at the top of our love languages. Every couple needs quality time together in order for the relationship to grow and to develop and the more time we spent active together, especially playing golf together, the happier we were with each other.

Playing Golf Together In All 50 US States

Mr has visited 47 states and during a discussion with a good friend of ours he suggested that since we both love golf and travel, that we play golf together in all 50 states before we turn the age of 50. Our eyes widened in excitement and we immediately embraced the idea. Thus began our ambitious plan to embark on a golfing adventure that would take us to every corner of the United States.

We both love Arizona, from the great weather year round and variety of landscapes, it’s not all cactus and tumbleweed here! As we travel to different states we’re excited to see al the changes, like pal trees and ocean breezes in California, the mountainous challenges of Colorado’s golf courses. From Arizona, when we head eastward we’ll play through all the charming courses of the Midwest, encounter the historic golf courses in the deep South, where moss-draped trees lined the fairways, and the sweet aroma of magnolia blossoms filled the air.

Each state will bring its own unique golfing experience. In Alaska, we’ll have the chance to play under the northern lights. In Hawaii, we’ll tee off with a backdrop of volcanic peaks and turquoise waters In Vermont, surrounded by rolling hills and a vibrant autumn landscape, while in Florida, we’ll navigate through lush swamps and wetlands, encountering more than a few gators along the way. The picturesque golf courses of New England and the dramatic coastlines of the Pacific Northwest provided breathtaking views.

We haven’t yet decided what state will be our final and 50th but the real beauty of our journey will not just be in the golf courses we play, but in the people they met along the way. From the passionate golfers of the Carolinas to the friendly locals of the heartland, we’re looking forward to meeting each golfing community in every state. From shared stories, tips, and even rounds of golf with newfound friends who enrich our journey in unexpected ways.

Our journey through all 50 states of the USA will not only allow us to explore the incredible diversity of American golf courses but also strengthen our bond as a couple. It’s a story that reminds us all to pursue our passions, embrace adventure, and cherish the journey, wherever it may lead.
